Throughout the 2002 election cycle, certain elements within the GOP naturally gravitated toward traditional Democrat themes; Social Security, Medicare, etc. As media consultants for the National Republican Congressional Committee, MCA argued aggressively in favor of driving a message based on Republican issues instead.
