Brandon also serves in MCA’s international division. He recently spent several months in the Middle East in 2008, working on communications and democracy-building projects for MCA clients.

Before joining MCA, Brandon served as Campaign Manager for Republican Congressman Jim Gerlach’s 2006 reelection campaign in Pennsylvania. Contrary to the predictions of many national experts, Congressman Gerlach retained his seat in one of the most expensive and hotly contested House races in the country.

Prior to that, Brandon worked as a fundraiser for two separate national conservative organizations, helping them raise millions of dollars through direct mail, telemarketing and major gift solicitation.

Brandon has also worked as a senior staffer on Republican congressional campaigns in Oregon in 2004, and on statewide gubernatorial races in New Hampshire in both 2002 and 2000. He has extensive experience in message development for candidates, direct mail, PAC fundraising, earned media, coalition building and all aspects of campaign management.

He is originally from New Hampshire and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations Journalism from Bob Jones University.

Client Case Study

Nicaragua

The first time in the history of democratic elections that a communist dictator was defeated by the democratic challenger occurred in Nicaragua in 1991. Violetta Chamarro pulled together a winning coalition that ultimately sent the Sandinistas packing.

...MCA was there, in a key role to the Chamorro campaign, offering timely advice to Chamarro's "Uno" coalition on grassroots strategy and waging political warfare against the odds where, in the final tally, ballots counted more than bullets.
