Katie Durski currently is the lead video editor at Marsh Copsey + Associates. Durski has had a passion for video production since high school. At a young age, she taught herself how to use video-editing and graphics software and even built a green screen in her basement to incorporate special effects into her videos.

As a video intern for D.C. United, a professional soccer team, she filmed games and created highlight videos. Later, she interned at MetaMedia Training International as part of her Master's program at George Mason University creating DVD menus, motion graphics, and print images, and editing videos.

In 2008, she graduated from Salisbury University with degrees in marketing and management, and in August 2009 she graduated from George Mason University with a master's degree in video production.

Currently, at Marsh Copsey she produces and edits videos for broadcast television and creates custom motion graphics videos. In her spare time she and her husband love to play soccer and follow the D.C. United professional soccer team, crab on the Eastern Shore, and spend time decorating their new home in Germantown, MD.

Client Case Study

Iraq

Skepticism about the first free election in Iraq was rife everywhere but in the country itself, where more than 8 million Iraqis braved threats by terrorists and exercised their right to vote for a better future.

MCA was there, creating GOTV television and radio commercials which helped explain what the election was about and encouraged people to participate.
